OB-Smoking is a realistic and optimized cigarette and joint system designed for FiveM roleplay servers.
When a player uses a cigarette or joint item, the prop is placed on the character. A lighter item is required before the cigarette or joint can be lit. Players can light, smoke, reposition or throw away the active cigarette using realistic animations.
The prop can be positioned in the mouth, right hand, left hand, above the right ear or above the left ear.
Joint usage includes a configurable progressive intoxication system. Depending on the number of uses, players can receive light, medium or heavy effects. Heavy intoxication can be stored in the SQL database and restored when the player reconnects to the server.
Persistent effects can be cleared by using configurable medicine items such as aspirin or detox pills.
The script has been developed with security, low resource usage, item duplication protection and easy configuration as its main priorities.

Optimization
OB-Smoking is designed to avoid unnecessary loops while the player is not actively smoking.
Idle resource usage is kept as low as possible. Active control loops only run while a cigarette or joint is being used.
